We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing so we can make an even greater impact in the world.

You will be working closely with Marketing and Design departments.

You will be responsible for curating and scheduling regular content to our social media accounts, managing the content calendar, engaging with followers/partners, monitoring social media trends, news and best practices, reviewing analytics and putting forward a strategy for continued growth.

This is a highly creative and organized role.

You should have previous experience managing and growing social media platforms for brands, ideally in the health space.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Building content calendars and scheduling/publishing content
  • Community management (replying to comments and messages, flagging issues to other teams)
  • Acting as a channel owner for all social media accounts (including knowing each channel’s best practices, deciding which content goes out where and when, and adapting content across channels)
  • Creating campaign plans for business and marketing priorities (e.g. product launches, rebrands, awareness campaigns, contests, etc.)
  • Writing creative briefs (to give direction to agencies and/or internal designers, video editors, and copywriters)
  • ​Supporting influencer marketing efforts (such as identifying and selecting influencers, reposting content, and engaging with influencer posts)
  • Creating weekly/monthly reports (and ad-hoc reports for major marketing campaigns, sponsorships, etc.)
  • Social listening (including monitoring hashtags and branded keywords, detecting brand safety issues, managing social media crises, and identifying real-time marketing opportunities)
  • Overseeing content, providing feedback to creative/content teams (acting as the subject matter expert for all content destined for publishing on social media)
  • ​Guiding best practices for social media (staying up-to-date on new social networks and features)
  • Creating and/or curating content (taking photos, writing copy, designing or modifying graphics, editing videos, finding UGC content, and contributing to editorial content)
  • ​Analyze data and provide reports (sales and revenue data, engagement data, content performance, and what’s working or not working)
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • A deep understanding of social media platforms, specifically Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Podcasting, and TikTok
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • ​1-3 years proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the health industry
  • ​1-3 years demonstrable experience leading and managing social media across multiple platforms
  • ​1-3 years experience with website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience growing all major social media platforms

For this role, you’ll be trained in world-class email-marketing strategy. You’ll send millions of emails each month to our community. You’ll monitor, tweak, and test changes. You’ll develop highly desirable email marketing skills -- and help to make an impact on the health & wellbeing of our community. 

As the Email Analyst, you’ll be responsible for the production and delivery of all our emails to subscribers. You’ll advise our editorial teams on email marketing strategies to help them improve email engagement. You’ll provide reporting and dashboards to analyze the performance of our emails and make recommendations for continuous improvement and testing.

You’ll also be responsible for building email campaigns, testing new ideas based on your intuition, and letting the numbers guide your decisions.

This is a highly analytical role. 

As Email Analyst, you’ll be in involved in the email communication responsible for growing our customers and building long term relationships with them, including:

  • Scheduling, testing, and delivering millions of emails each month to different segments of our community

Responsibilities Include:
  • The successful formatting, testing, release and quality control of all emails. Work closely across teams to execute on a highly complex editorial calendar, from initial concept, through completion of marketing campaigns
  • ​Become a technical expert for our Email Service Provider (Active Campaign)
  • ​Review data and email performance to find ways to improve this area of the business
  • ​Envision and execute tests to improve key performance indicators
  • ​Provide regular status updates with data analysis, tracking results, and proposals for further optimization
  • ​Continue learning and studying experts to find new ways to use technology to optimize email communications
  • ​Managing multiple, large-scale testing strategies and deeply analyzing their results to provide recommendations for further optimization
  • ​Coordinate testing across the company and document the results to further optimize in the areas of product pages, emails, webinars, etc.
  • ​Maintain an internal “Split Testing” database to track and record our history of Lessons Learned
  • ​Regularly deconstruct industry email marketing strategies and incorporate into current testing (eg How to Increase Open Rates, etc)
  • ​Monitor email deliverability, continually monitor and ensure proper list hygiene, ensure CAN-SPAM compliance, follow email marketing best practices and maintain a high rate of deliverability. Propose expanded or improved capabilities of email best practices
  • ​Develop standards, naming conventions, SOPs for the company’s email production
  • ​Establish, document and maintain custom data tracking parameters
  • ​Execute email split tests, analyze results, and recommending new split tests during the daily email communications to ensure we have the highest engagement possible
  • ​Build automated email campaigns to specific segments of subscribers
  • ​Perform analysis and build dashboards to report on email and campaign performance, leads and other attributes and performance metrics on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
